Dr. Parnell is a family physician. His vast experiences in the medical profession and passion for the promotion of health and wellness led him to the founding of Integrity Medical Center. He is deeply committed to quality patient care.

Dr. Parnell began his practice at the Fairmont Medical Center and served there for many years, during that time he was held many leadership roles including multiple terms as Chief of Staff and Medical Director. In 2006, Dr Parnell co-founded Dulcimer Medical Center which was a full service primary care clinic. He continued to practice there until February 2024 when the clinic was purchased by United Hospital District. Not ready to retire and feeling he had much yet to offer patients he founded Integrity Medical Center in March 2024.

The Parnell family lives in Fairmont, Minnesota, where Steve and Donna raised their five children. Tim, their first born, died unexpectedly at age 22 from a heart arrythmia. They also have four daughters. Becky is married to Jon, a Mechanical Engineer for Collins Aerospace They have three children, Ben, Amelia and Samuel, and she works as a Family Nurse Practitioner at the Cornerstone Clinic in Fairmont. Kellie, who earned her Master’s Degree in Education and husband Nate Reyelts, a Physician Assistant at Cornerstone Clinic, live in Fairmont and together they are raising their 7 children Annie, Evan, Collin, Julia, Mollie, Lauren and Bethanie. Stephanie graduated with her Art and Graphic/Interior Design degree from Northwestern College in Orange City, IA. She is married to Jared Schafer and have three boys, Owen Levi, and Jack. She is taking time away from work temporaily and will return to working in the lab at Integrity. Megan also graduated from Northwestern College with a degree in Business Administration and Marketing and is one of our front desk staff in Fairmont. She and her husband Jason have four children, Emma, Eli, Josie and Clara. Donna is not only Dr. Parnell's helpmate as wife and best friend, but uses her Medical Technology background to run the laboratory.

Dr. Parnell is motivated by his strong Christian faith and a desire to serve the "Great Physician." He is Board Certified by the American Academy of Family Practice and Board Certified by the American Board of Integrative Holistic Medicine.

Education
Dr. Parnell earned his undergraduate degree at Southwest State University in Marshall, Minnesota. He earned his medical degree at the Mayo Medical School in Rochester, Minnesota and is Board Certified in Family Medicine. Not satisfied with the status quo, he is always looking for better ways to help people.
